Step-by-step instructions
- Step 1
Step 1. Glue up the top
Edge-glue the two 1x12 boards. Clamp and let dry overnight.

Step 2. Sand the top
Sand top flush with 120 then 220 grit.

Step 3. Build apron frame
Attach short aprons between long aprons forming a rectangle. Joinery (Wood glue + screws): Apply a thin even bead of glue on the mating surface, clamp the joint, pre-drill pilot holes (1/8"), then drive screws to pull the joint tight. Wipe glue squeeze-out immediately with a damp rag.

Step 4. Attach legs
Screw legs into apron corners with 2" screws.

Step 5. Attach top
Center top on apron assembly and screw up through aprons.

Step 6. Finish
Apply 2 coats of poly, sanding lightly between coats.
